Frequently Asked Questions
Item Variations
Every piece is handmade and unique, so no two pieces are exactly the same. The photos on my site and in my Etsy shop show the general design and style; your actual piece may have slight variations in size, shape, color, and texture.
If you'd like to see the exact piece before ordering, please send me an email and I can share some quick photos.
Care Instructions
To keep your glazed pottery looking its best, rinse or wash it after use. All my jars, mugs, cups, plates, bowls, and other kitchen items are made with food-safe glaze produced in Canada, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards for food use.
All my pieces are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe, but hand washing and gentle care will help them last longer and preserve their beautiful finish.
Returns & Exchanges
I understand that pottery can feel different than what you see online. I accept returns within 30 days of delivery, as long as the piece is in its original condition and unused. Buyers are responsible for safely repackaging and return shipping costs.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 5 days of delivery with photos, and I'll gladly issue a refund or send a replacement.
Please note that custom orders or workshop pieces cannot be returned.
Shipping & Delivery
All orders are processed through my Etsy shop. Items are usually shipped within 3–5 business days after your order. I use Canada Post for shipping, and times vary by destination.
If you need your order sooner, contact me before placing your order; I can adjust shipping fees for express postage. For multiple items or international orders, please reach out for an accurate quote.
Buyers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes that may apply.
Local Pick Up
If you're in the Greater Vancouver area, I offer local pick‑up by appointment. Contact me directly to schedule a time and location for pick-up.
For workshop pieces, allow 2–3 weeks for firing and finishing.
International Orders
I'm currently not accepting international orders by default.
However, if you're really interested in a piece and are located outside Canada or the United States, please contact me first and I'll see what we can work out. Shipping costs can vary widely by country, and buyers outside Canada are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes.
